Who are the people of the Patchogue Church of the Nazarene? We believe our mission is helping people live a life of faith in God, expressing that faith in love.

I often hear people who attend our church say that they felt comfortable, and accepted in our church. That's who we are, a warm, friendly, polite congregation, striving to put others before ourselves. We want people to feel at home in our congregation, loved and part of the family.

We are worshippers of God. We exalt Jesus who has brought us into a personal, intimate relationship with God now and for eternity. Everything we do is to honor God; everything our church does is for God, through His Spirit, and to the glory of His Son. We want people to experience God in our services and in their lives.

We preach and teach the Bible, the Word of God. We believe that the Bible is inspired by God and contains everything we need to know for salvation and Christian living. We want to know the truth of God's Word and apply it to our lives. We want people to know the truth that can set them free.

We are a praying people. Prayer is talking with God. We believe that in order for God's work to be done God's way we must first spend time with God. We believe in fervent, persistent, unceasing prayer. We want people to pray not so much to get answers but to get with God.

We love all people and believe we should tell them about Jesus with our lives and with our lips. We minister to the poor, the sick, and to all those in need, locally and around the world. That's who we are, a people who shine the light of Christ's love through our lives, for the glory of God. We want people's lives to be transformed.

So that's who we are, a friendly, worshipping, Bible believing, praying people who want to know Jesus and make Him known.

We are not the only church and we are not a perfect church but a church on an awesome journey, and you are welcome to join us.
